Berlin welcomed me with a cold and rainy weather. Therefore, although I had a giant city tour, I couldn’t manage to see the flea markets due to the stormy weather. Alas! But one of the best things about Berlin is the museums and in the museum island, my favorite is Pergammon Museum of course. However I have some bad news. Zeus altar will be closed until 2020. So I tucked myself into Neues Museum.
I guarantee that you can spend 3 hours within this museum which contains mostly Egyptian and Roman artifacts. Although the most precious artifact of the museum is Nefertiti’s bust, photography was not allowed there so I present you writing equipment of ancient Egypt.
And a scribe from ancient Egypt…
I didn’t get much from Berlin. My biggest hit was Lamy coloring pencils. I was looking for those for a long time and I found it in the souvenir shop of the museum. Apart from this, I get three notebooks (as I use them often), one Online fountain pen, one Leitz ink roller and a package of plain notecards.
And here is two postcards I got from Dussman, the famous bookstore of Berlin which I got with the intenion of hanging on the wall.
What did you do when I was away?
