Things are not going very well here in Turkey, but I want to cheer it up a bit with a good ink, J. Herbin Larmes de Cassis. Actually, everyone is waiting for a different ink of J. Herbin but Emerald of Chivor just taken over the social media and our fountain pen meetings has been conquered by it so much so I decided to postpone it.
J. Herbin Larmes de Cassis is a great violet-pink. Like other inks of J. Herbin, it is a problem-free, high flow ink with good qualities. It is a calm tone of pink which is not a torture to the eyes and easily readable.
As you can see from the photos it is a shader!
The most surprising quality of this ink is the water resistance. Actually I didn’t test it with water until I made the review. As you can see it is not washed off by water and had a minimum feather. I am not sure if you would like to use it with important documents but you can write on the envelopes when you use snail-mail.
I always loved J. Herbin Larmes de Cassis and I liked it even more when I realize it is a waterproof ink. I also find out when I actually got his ink. (Click here)
What do you think about this ink and what do you think about J. Herbin inks in general?
