Pelikan Edelstein Topaz Ink Review

I have so many inks and among them, there are really a few black and a few blue inks. I have never been conservative about anything, so in inks. I generally like unique tones of greens and purples, I can’t get enough of them. That’s why, after getting the whole line of Edelstein inks, there were two inks left untried: Onyx and Topaz. (I tried Sapphire because it was a purplish blue) After a while I finally decided to use Topaz and I was surprised. Because it is a nice, funny, vibrant shade of blue.

And while trying to make swatches of similar inks, I was quite surprise with the resemblance of Pelikan Edelstein Topaz and Iroshizuku Kon Peki. It is a fact that Pilot Iroshizuku inks are very expensive and not available everywhere so there are a lot of people looking for a dupe or alternative for those colors. I know, Edelstein is not a very cheap ink either, but might be an alternative to Iroshizuku Kon Peki.
Which blue ink is indispensable for you?
Cheers,
Zeynep Konpeki
